Marjetica Potrc will be joined by Bunker Roy (founder of the Barefoot
College in India), Aleksandra Wagner, Detroit artist Kyong Park, the New
York design partnership Gans & Jelacic and others for a public presentation
of ideas emerging from a Workshop to be held earlier in the day. Lebbeus
Woods will moderate the discussion, exploring models of participatory urban
planning, theorizing possible implications for communities, and considering
future scenarios for applications in New York City. This event is free and
open to the public.
